 In Israel, Memorial Day is known as Yom HaZikaron.

This evening and tomorrow Israelis will remember 23,085 fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives protecting our precious country. We will also remember the 2,493 civilians who were killed in terror attacks. There will be a one minute siren this evening and again tomorrow morning.
