Our Precious Israel
Today is Yom HaZikaron , Israel's memorial day, when we remember the 22,684 fallen soldiers, who gave their livies defending our precious country.
Tonight we usher in Yom Ha'atzmaut, our Independence Day, celebrating 62 years of the modern State of Israel. A land where Jews everywhere in the world can call home.

Our flag, our flag...
Oh, what a sight!
To see you proudly
dance in the wind.
Your blue and white colours
so very distinctive,
makes us grateful
we live in this wonderful land.
Our history is short,
many wars we have known.
The Hand of Hashem
guides our brave young soldiers,
to diligently defend your honour.
Oh flag, oh flag
What a proud and beautiful sight!
