I'm sure this wasn't the intension when you posted, but your experience strengthened my belief that we should not move even though my husband hates our upstairs neighbours, who have made our lives a misery for years. I always worry that the new house might have worse problems, or worse neighbours (though that is really tough to imagine).

Hang in there!Esthernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2675909413199524374.post-30619103229775180432010-07-28T20:11:12.312+03:002010-07-28T20:11:12.312+03:00Sorry to say it sounds like a typical Israel Oleh ...Sorry to say it sounds like a typical Israel Oleh experience. Something most of us have gone through one time or another.

I laughed even while feeling terrible for you. All I can say is Gam Zu LaTova. I hope things straighten themselves out.

BTW: YES is no better than HOT. When my Mother stoped her YES service prior to going on a trip to the States, they came and cut all the cables leading to her TV antenna connection even in the building electrical closet.

Hang in there "Yeheeye Beseder"
MeyerMeyernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2675909413199524374.post-24438462097142546682010-07-28T20:09:22.379+03:002010-07-28T20:09:22.379+03:00Dearest Miriam:

But the rollercoaster ride of the past two months must have taken its toll on your nerves and health -- and only your magnificent temper probably saved you from a major depressive downturn.

Keep fighting on -- I'm rooting for you!!

Cheers from France,
EllenEllennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2675909413199524374.post-1957666224107732132010-07-28T19:45:54.314+03:002010-07-28T19:45:54.314+03:00Miriam,

I don't think he realizes just how much - and how loud - construction is going on across the street), but to have your new apartment be such an unhappy place, and then have to face doing it all again.

May you find a wonderful apartment quickly, and have an easy, trouble-free move. And a spot where the satellite dish can face the right direction ;)Alissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00846819414972534465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2675909413199524374.post-14834190924315051432010-07-28T10:29:45.658+03:002010-07-28T10:29:45.658+03:00Miriam,
